As a cooking salt, this extra fine grain Himalayan pink salt is best as it can go straight into a salt shaker. As a finishing salt, this would still be coarser than regular table salt, and well-suited for seasoning meats as it clings better to the meat surface and is easier to spread evenly when sprinkled.

How to use

Himalayan salt can used both as a cooking salt or a finishing salt, and comes in various forms or grain sizes, which are very convenient for both kitchen and table use. As a cooking salt, this extra fine grain Himalayan pink salt is best as it can go straight into a salt shaker. As a finishing salt, fine graine Himalayan salt would still be coarser than regular table salt, and well-suited for seasoning meats as they cling better to the meat surface and is easier to spread evenly when sprinkled with hand. Regular table salt is much finer, hence they tend to clump together and stick to the fingers.
