Grown naturally by our local partner farmers from Benguet. This fresh oregano is bright green in color and has a minty, musty and bitter flavor. Along with basil, it provides character to many Italian dishes. Dried oregano is more widely used but to substitute for fresh oregano, as a general rule, 1 tsp of dried oregano leaves is equal to 2 tsp chopped fresh oregano. It is also a traditional Mediterranean herb used to cure sickness, digestive troubles, detoxify and maintain good heart health.
