Dough: Flour, butter sheet, water, butter, and salt. Filling: Bostock chicken thigh, white button mushroom, shiitake mushroom, and onion leeks. Gravy: Chicken stock, butter, all-purpose flour, Dijon mustard, sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and Herbs de Provence. Egg wash: Egg yolk and cream.

    Contents/condiments are goid, and correct using Bostock pasture-raised chicken stock.

    Taste-wise, it’s my go-to quick bite. However, the filo crust is too flaky (and messy) on too, and the bottom crust is too thick, and tough. I need a steak knife to hack the pocket pie into bite size pieces beforehand. I really wish the crust formulation can be improved on for a simpler, and less messy enjoyment.
