Healthy Options marks its 30th anniversary this year with the launch of its latest campaign, “Make Better Choices” – a celebration of everyday decisions that lead to longer, richer, and more fulfilling lives.
Established in 1995 with its first store in Shangri-La Plaza, Healthy Options has redefined healthy living for Filipinos. The brand has remained steadfast in its mission: to make clean, wholesome living accessible through thoughtfully sourced food, health, and beauty products - free from artificial preservatives, additives, and other harmful ingredients.
“Being healthy isn’t an accident, but a choice,” said Romy Sia, Founder and Owner of Healthy Options. “We celebrate those who make these choices every day, whether you’re a parent choosing better nutrition for your children or someone shifting to clean beauty. At Healthy Options, we help make those decisions easier.”
To bring the campaign to life, Healthy Options shared stories of loyal customers who embody the philosophy of making better choices in their wellness journeys:
Iza Calzado, Dr. Kara Gozali, and Carlo Herrera Share How They Choose with Intention
“It’s not easy to find healthy products that you need,” says Carlo Herrera, an entrepreneur and management consultant. “Healthy Options has become a safe haven for my family to find the daily essentials that we need to incorporate into our lifestyle.”
Actress and She Talks Asia co-founder Iza Calzado shares how motherhood deepened her commitment to conscious living: “What I love about Healthy Options is that whatever season of life you’re at, whatever diet choice or lifestyle choice you may have, [they] can support you in your wellness journey…Now that I’m a mother, I’m super mindful of what I give my family. It’s about choosing what’s best for your family,” Iza says.
Addressing the common concern about cost, Dr. Kara Gozali chimes in: “At the end of the day, you pay for ‘ok lang’, ‘yung mga toxic, puwede naman paminsan-minsan eh.’ But in the long run, how much are your hospital bills?”
Personalities Joyce Pring, Bubbles Paraiso, and Jae Pickrell Affirm High Quality Standards
“I know for a fact that Healthy Options tests their products before they put it on the shelf,” says Bubbles Paraiso, a triathlete and wellness advocate. “Knowing that, then I know that what I put in my body is actually clean.”
Media personality and content creator Joyce Pring reflects on how the frontlines have been a cornerstone of her Healthy Options experiences: “You go to a store; you see these frontlines or staff of the store who are always willing to assist you. If you are just starting out your health journey, there are registered pharmacists and nutritionists who will tell you about the products that you’re not very familiar with.”
“The people behind the company have done their homework to really source the best products out there,” says Jae Pickrell, restauranteur and editor. “As a customer, I like that someone has done that heavy lifting for us.”
Better Choices Made Easier
What sets Healthy Options apart is its rigorous product quality process and commitment to consumer education:
- Every product on the shelf is screened against an expert-consulted list of thousands of restricted ingredients.
- Frontline staff are trained extensively with registered nutritionists and pharmacists among them, to help guide each customer’s unique wellness journey.
- The brand also invests in partnerships with local organic farmers and operates its own wholesome, all-natural bakery called Baking Therapy.
As Healthy Options continues to grow, its commitment to helping people live longer, richer, and more fulfilling lives remains unchanged. The “Make Better Choices” campaign is a heartfelt reminder that wellness is more than the significant milestones – but about the better choices made every day.
Committed to sustainability and wellness, Healthy Options offers a wide selection of products free from artificial ingredients. The company also operates its own wholesome bakery with its own gluten-free facility, and partners with organic farmers in the Philippines. The team has expanded its brand portfolio to include Bow & Wow, Wine Story, and Baking Therapy.
