A certified organic rice grown sustainably by partner farmers from Cotabato. Black rice gets its distinctive deep color from the phytochemicals in its bran. It has a nutty, earthy, and organic flavor; and  contains more fiber and protein compared to white rice.

Black rice has a low glycemic index which makes it a good carbohydrate choice for diabetics. Among the varieties of rice, it contains the highest amount of anthocyanins - an antioxidant known to boost the immune system and promote cell regulation.

Other available colors/varieties are organic brown rice and organic red rice; mix and match to your desired flavor.
