Herbes de Provence is an essential component of French and Mediterranean cooking. This blend contains thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon, and lavender flowers. Originally, lavender was not included in the traditional mix. However, it is now incorporated as it adds aroma and a strong flavor. Recreate the taste of the Mediterranean by using this in dips and dressings, soups and salads, sides and entrees. Add this to chicken, roasted vegetables, grilled fish, and stews like ratatouille.
